📝 Overview
Whether you are moving to a new gym, want to train at a second location, or need to transfer after your account has been suspended, BoxMate makes it easy to manage gym changes from within the app. This guide covers all three scenarios.
🛠️ Requesting a Gym Transfer
If you are still logged in at your current gym but know you are moving, you can request a transfer to your new gym from inside the app.

From the burger menu on your Homepage, tap Preferences.
Search or scroll down to Request Transfer. Search for your new gym from the list or scroll manually. Tap the gym name to send a transfer request.
After sending the request, it will appear as a pending request under Request Transfer in your settings. If you selected the wrong gym, tap the pending request to delete it.
Wait for a coach at your new gym to approve your account. You will receive a notification, and the next time you open BoxMate the change will take effect.
☀️ Adding an Away Gym
If you train at multiple gyms and want to add a second gym to your account, you can request an away gym from the same Preferences page.

From the burger menu on your Homepage, tap Preferences.
Search or scroll down to Away Box. Search for the gym you want to add and tap it to send the request.
Once approved by the away gym, you can switch between gyms from the burger menu on your Homepage under the My Gyms section. Tap the name of the gym you want to view.
↔️ Transferring When Your Account Has Been Suspended
If your previous gym has suspended your account, you can still request a transfer to your new gym from the login screen.

When you attempt to log in, you will see a message letting you know your account has been suspended. Tap Select Gym.
Search for the gym you are moving to from the list and tap it to send the transfer request.
Once a coach at your new gym approves your account, you will be able to log in.

Can I cancel a transfer request if I selected the wrong gym?

Approval depends on the coaches at your new gym. Once they approve the request, you will receive a notification and the change will take effect the next time you open BoxMate.
Can I be a member of more than one gym at the same time?

Yes. Use the Away Box option in Preferences to add additional gyms to your account. Once approved, you can switch between gyms from the My Gyms section in the burger menu.
