📝 Overview
BoxMate allows you to access and test features that are not yet fully released by switching your app to the BETA channel. By default your app is on the Production channel, which is the live, fully tested version everyone uses. When you switch to the BETA channel you can try preview features before they are officially released.
You can control this yourself, or you may be switched to the BETA channel by the gym owner if they are testing a new feature that requires all members to use the preview.
✅ Enabling Preview Features
Follow the steps below to switch your app to the BETA channel and access preview features.

Head to the Home tab and tap the BoxMate logo at the top of the page.
On the Support page, scroll down to the App Details section and tap Join BETA Channel. Give it a moment - if it does not automatically check for updates, tap Check For Updates.
If an update is available you will see a message (either a basic alert or a detailed feature pop-up). Choose to continue with the update - the app will complete the update and reload.
📣 Reporting Issues or Leaving Feedback
To give feedback or report an issue while using the BETA version, tap the question icon in the top left corner of the Home page. It is important that the BoxMate team knows about any issues so they can be fixed before the final release.
🔄 Reverting Back to Production
If you are having issues with the BETA version and want to return to the live app, follow the same steps above but select Switch To Production instead of Switch To BETA.

My gym switched everyone to the preview but my app did not update - what should I do?

BoxMate checks once daily for a new update. If your app already checked today and your gym was moved to preview mode after that check, you can manually follow the steps above to check for updates (you can skip the channel switch part since your gym has already moved you).
Will switching to BETA affect my scores or data?

No. Your scores, progress, and account data are stored on the server and are not affected by switching channels. You can switch between BETA and Production at any time.
How do I get back to the normal version of the app?
