📝 Overview
BoxMate partners with TeamUp to provide additional functionality for martial arts facilities, including grade tracking, promotions, communications, session plans, and more.
Once you have a TeamUp account with an active membership, you can switch to using BoxMate as your daily app - it includes all TeamUp booking features alongside the martial arts-specific tools.
✅ Signing Into BoxMate (First Time Only)
Before following these steps, you should have already signed up for a TeamUp account and purchased a membership.

Follow this link to download the BoxMate app: https://app.boxmateapp.co.uk
Open the app and select the Register tab (middle bottom).
Select Use TeamUp and enter your TeamUp account details to log straight into BoxMate. This requires an account and active membership on at least one family member.
You will be automatically logged in and your accounts connected, ready to start booking through the app.
⛔️ Always use the family manager account when signing in — not one of the child accounts. Using a child account will cause issues with class bookings.
🔄 Switching Between Family Accounts
When you sign in as a family manager, you can switch between which TeamUp account you are controlling for class bookings and grade viewing.

In the Timetable, TeamUp page, or Grades page, you will see the family switch at the top. Tap it to change which TeamUp customer or child from your manager account BoxMate is currently controlling.
⚠️ BoxMate remembers your selection, so always check which account you are controlling before booking a class.
🎫 Booking Classes
BoxMate is your day-to-day app for booking classes for yourself or your family members. You can book from the home screen widget or from the Timetable tab (second tab at the bottom of the app).
🔎 Grade Tracking
Tap the grade tracking tab (third tab at the bottom) to view your current grade, upcoming available promotions, and training data. Family managers can switch between children's data using the account switcher.
When you receive a promotion, you will be notified in the app, your new grade will appear on your profile, and other members will be able to see it and congratulate you in the activity feed (if enabled by your coach).
Recording Your Training
If your coach has enabled this option, you can log training sessions from the Grades tab under the Sessions menu item (third top menu). You can track rounds, matches, and your overall progress.
If you do not want other members to see your training activity (logged sessions, badges, and promotions), you can activate the private profile option from the icon in the top left of the Home tab.
🎯 Other Features
Your coaches use BoxMate to send in-app news, communications, and other content as part of your membership. You can also set personal goals, view and interact with other members' progress in the activity feed (fourth tab at the bottom), and much more.
