Creating a new competition
From the sidebar, go to Programming > Competitions. Click Add New to open the competition editor.
Enter a name for your competition.
Choose whether the competition is for Individuals or Teams.
Select the competition type:
Online competition: Members can register themselves and enter their own scores.
Live competition: Only you and your coaches can register members and enter scores.
In an online team competition, one team leader registers the team, adds the other team members and enters scores on behalf of the team.
Important: Registration goes live as soon as you save the competition.
Adding competition categories
Under Categories, click the plus icon to add each category available in the competition.
Categories could be based on factors such as ability level, age group or competition division.
⚠️ Important: Do not remove a category after competitors have started registering. Removing it may affect existing registrations.
Adding squads
You can add squads if you want competitors or teams to contribute towards a wider squad leaderboard.
If you are not using squads, you can leave this section blank.
Adding workouts
Create each workout that will be included in the competition. This is exactly the same process as building a workout in general programming.
✏️ Note: You cannot add exercises or previously programmed workouts to a competition. All competition workouts must be created as new workouts within the competition editor. This ensures that scores are correctly recorded and linked to the competition leaderboards.
Before saving, review the competition details, categories, squads and workouts carefully.
When everything is correct, click Save. Your competition is now live.
View your competition
Return to the main Competitions page, find the competition and click View Competition.

How competition points are awarded
When members first register for the competition, each competitor is temporarily allocated one point.
As scores are entered and the leaderboard begins to fill, points are automatically redistributed according to each competitor’s position:
1st place receives 1 point
2nd place receives 2 points
3rd place receives 3 points
This continues down the leaderboard
The competitor or team with the best result receives the lowest number of points. These points contribute towards the overall competition and squad standings.
What happens when competitors tie?
When two or more competitors or teams achieve the same score, they receive the same number of points for their shared position. The following position is then skipped.
For example, if two teams finish in second place:
1st place receives 1 point
Both teams in 2nd place receive 2 points
3 points is skipped
The next team receives 4 points
As more scores are added, leaderboard positions and points update automatically.
