This article covers:

1. Requesting a transfer to a new box if you are still on BoxMate

2. Requesting an Away Box onto your BoxMate Account

3. Requesting a transfer to your new gym if your account has been suspended by your previous gym

  1. Requesting a Box Transfer | From Inside BoxMate

If you are still logged in on your current gym's account but know that you are moving gym then you can request to transfer to your new gym easily from inside the app.

From the burger menu on your homepage head to Preferences.

Now, search for or scroll down until you see "Away Box" and "Request Transfer".

Under Request Transfer, you can now search for your new gym from the list. Either type in the search bar or manually scroll until you find the gym you are looking for. Once found click on the gym to send a transfer request.

After sending a transfer request you will see pending requests under the "Request Transfer" of your settings. Selected the wrong gym or no longer need the transfer? Simply click on the pending request to delete it.

Once you have sent the transfer request the next step is waiting for one of the coaches at your new gym to approve your account.

After being approved you'll receive a notification and then next time you open up the BoxMate app you will see that the change has taken effect.

2. Wanting to add a second/ Away gym to your account?

If you train at multiple gyms and would like to have more than one gym associated with your account simply follow the same steps above, but this time search under 'Away Box' to find the gym you are wanting to add to your account.

Once you have successfully requested the Away Box you'll see a green notification like the one in the screenshot below.

Once your account has been approved by your away gym you'll be able to easily flick between accounts from the burger menu on your homepage under the 'My Gyms' section by tapping on the name of the gym you want to see.

3. Requesting a transfer when your account has been suspended.

If you have tried to login to BoxMate and your account has been suspended by your previous gym you will see this message/ pop-up when you attempt to login. Simply click 'select gym' and from the list of gyms search for the gym you are moving to.

Now, your new gym will receive your transfer request. As soon as your account has been approved you will be able to login at your new gym.

We hope this article helped you with what you were looking for. If you require assistance with anything please send an email to support@boxmateapp.co.uk and we will get back to you ASAP!
