Programmes allow you to create multiple training tracks in BoxMate, with access available to all members or restricted to specific memberships or individuals.

To view and manage your programmes:

  1. Navigate to Programming from the sidebar menu.

  2. Select Programmes.

Here you'll find a list of all existing programmes in your gym.

To create a new programme, click Add Programme in the top-right corner.

Step 1:

Enter a name for your programme, such as:

  • Hyrox

  • Strength

  • Competitors

  • Beginners

Step 2: Choose Programme Type

Select whether the programme is;

Primary Programme - Your primary programme appears first for members and acts as the default programme within the app.

Standard Programme - A standard programme remains available for members to switch to from the primary programme. Members can also choose their own default programme.

Step 3: Programme Visibility Settings

Next, choose whether the programme will be Visible or Hidden.

Visible Programme - Visible programmes are available to all members regardless of membership type.

Hidden Programme -When you select Hidden, additional access options become available.

  • Available – Can Be Purchased; The programme appears in the member app with a payment indicator. If a member does not have the required membership, they will be prompted to purchase the correct memebrship before viewing the programme.

  • Unavailable – Hidden in App; The programme is completely hidden from members who do not already have the required membership or are assigned to the programme. Only members with the correct membership/assigned will see the programme in their timetable.

Within the programme head to the access control tab to specify which memberships provide access, when using a hidden programme;

From here;

  1. Select a membership type from the dropdown.

  2. Click the + button.

  3. The selected membership will appear in the access list.

You can add multiple membership types if required.

To assign individual members to give access without requiring a membership purchase:

  1. Search for the member's name.

  2. Click the + button.

  3. Repeat for additional members.

This is useful when:

  • Accepting cash payments

  • Using an alternative payment method

  • Providing complimentary access

  • Not using TeamUp memberships

To remove access click the Delete icon beside a member or membership to remove access.

Safe Display:

Each programme can have its own visibility settings based on your gym's Safe Display time.

To learn how to setup your Safe Display setting select the link below:

Programme Visibility:

Depending on your needs, you can choose:

  • Fully Visible – Session is visible immediately.

  • Fully Hidden – The session remains hidden until the Safe Display time passes.

  • Components Hidden – Workout & Exercise components are hidden. (only session details visible)

  • Workouts Hidden – Workouts are hidden until release.

  • Exercises Hidden – Exercise remains hidden until the Safe Display time passes.

This allows you to control how much information members can see before a workout is released.

You can Add a Programme Description and choose a Programme Colour (make it easier to distinguish between programmes on the programming calendar and within the admin area)

Creating Programme Levels:

You can set levels for each programme to override the standard RX/Scaled (Easiest to hardest),

Enter each level separated by a comma, quick note; Enter levels from easiest to hardest. For example: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Class Filters:

Class Filters allow you to control which classes appear beneath a programme in the member app.

For Example; if you're creating a Hyrox programme, you may only want members to see:

  • Hyrox with Emily

  • Open Gym

1. Select the relevant class types from the dropdown menu.

2. Click the + button.

3. The selected classes will appear in the list below

Once added, only those classes will appear under that programme within the members app.

Once you've configured all settings, click Save Changes.

Your programme will now be available according to the visibility and access settings you've chosen.
