Historically, logging into BoxMate live was done by just using your admin account credentials. In this latest version, launched in April 2026, it has been replaced by a faster one-time passcode.
Generating A Login Code
From the admin site, select account from the sidebar then settings and finally the new “Live” tab.
Inside each of the 2 cards, you will see Get Login Code - click this to generate a short-lived passcode which you can enter into the live login screen.
Use the facility access option if you want to log in as the account purely for BoxMate live and no other admin access.
Use the personal login if you want to be logged in as your administrator account.
Note: in most cases the facility access will be enough, personal access is required if you are a PT with clients and you need to display the workouts.
Creating Facility Account
In addition to the new simple login we have also introduced the ability to create a standalone facility access account which has no permissions and can only access BoxMate live, not carry across to the full admin application.
From the same page, in the left card, click create account, which will build a new administrator with a BoxMate email address that cannot be logged into.
Once you have created the account, you can generate a code as above and use it to log in.
