📝 Overview
BoxMate Live now uses a faster one-time passcode system for logging in, replacing the previous method of entering admin account credentials directly.
You can generate a login code from your admin settings and use it on the Live login screen. There are two access types available, facility access and personal access, and you can also create a dedicated facility account that has no admin permissions.
🔢 Generating a Login Code
To generate a one-time login code for BoxMate Live, navigate to Account ➜ Settings from the sidebar in your admin site, then select the Live tab.
You will see two cards, each with a Get Login Code button. Click this to generate a short-lived passcode which you then enter on the Live login screen.

Facility Access - Logs in as the account purely for BoxMate Live, with no admin access to any other part of the platform. This is the recommended option for most use cases.
Personal Login - Logs in as your individual administrator account. Use this if you are a PT with clients and need to display workouts linked to your personal account.
🔔 In most cases, facility access is sufficient. Personal access is only required if you need to display workouts tied to your individual admin account (e.g. PT clients).
🛠️ Creating a Facility Account
You can create a standalone facility access account that has no admin permissions and can only be used to access BoxMate Live. This account cannot log into the full admin application.

Navigate to Account ➜ Settings ➜ Live from the sidebar in your admin site.
In the left card, click Create Account. This creates a new administrator with a BoxMate email address that cannot be used to log into the admin application.
Once the account is created, generate a login code from the same page and use it to log into Live.

Login codes are short-lived for security. If a code expires before you use it, simply generate a new one from the Live tab in your admin settings.
